What’s my commission?
50% of the subscription payments during the first 12 months of the life of a new subscription.
How do I get paid?
At the end of each month, your rewards are calculated and available for payout. Cheddar Up will initiate your payout to your specified payout method. You can see a recording of your past payouts on your Affiliate Dashboard.
When do I get paid?
Payments are verified and paid out the month after your reward is earned. For example, any rewards earned in February will be available at the end of March.
What happens if a user upgrades or downgrades from Pro or Team?
You will get paid for all subscription payments during the first 12 months of a new account. Payments may go up and down as the customer upgrades to a higher plan or downgrades to a lower one.
How does the person I refer get a discount?
When people sign up for Cheddar Up using your referral link, there will automatically be a promo code pre-populated in the promo field if they decide to upgrade. It’s magic (not really)! And if they have any trouble, you can simply share the code with them (it’s the same code attached to your referral link).
Is there any compensation if people I refer do not upgrade?
With our standard affiliate program there is no compensation unless the referred user upgrades. However, we do offer an exclusive program for thoroughly-vetted, high-dollar volume collector referrals. Please contact Support to learn more if you might fall into this category.
What happens if a user cancels their subscription before the first year ends?
You will get paid for all subscription payments up to when the subscription is canceled.
What happens if a user subscribes to a monthly subscription for two months and then switches to an annual subscription plan?
As long as the transaction happens within the first 12 months, it will count. In this example, there are two monthly transactions and then an annual one, and they all count as they occur during the first year of the subscription.
How much can I expect to make per person who upgrades to a premium plan?
The subscription amount changes depending on the selected Cheddar Up plan, and of course, the user can also upgrade and downgrade, which affects compensation. On the high end, a user who signs up for 12 months of the Team Monthly plan could earn an affiliate $218 (50% of $36/month for 12 months). Alternatively, if someone signs up for Pro Monthly, an affiliate would earn $7.50 per month (50% of $15/month for up to 12 months (up to $90)).
How do I get credit when someone signs up?
When you share your unique referral link, the system will track if someone originated on our site from your link. If they sign-up for a subscription within 45 days after their initial visit, you’ll receive a commission.

Tapfiliate is the affiliate technology platform used for the Cheddar Up Affiliate Program. It helps provide you with the tools and resources needed to promote our product, track your progress, and get rewarded for it.
