If you’re eligible for the Cheddar Up Referral Program, you can access the Referral Program page, by logging in to your Cheddar Up account and navigating to your profile menu. Select “Refer a Friend” or find the referral link in your Collections Dashboard. On the Referral Program page, you can invite friends by:

• Entering their email addresses
• Copying and sharing your unique referral link
• Posting the link directly on social media

The term “Referral” refers to any new Cheddar Up user who signs up using your unique referral link. The term “Referrer” refers to an existing Cheddar Up user who shares their referral link with others.

The Referral Program is intended for personal use and community sharing. Referral links may not be posted on publicly accessible coupon websites, deal aggregators, or websites primarily dedicated to distributing referral incentives. However, sharing in relevant online communities, private social groups, or professional networks where users may genuinely benefit from Cheddar Up is allowed.

Cheddar Up reserves the right to determine eligibility based on referral authenticity, method of distribution, and compliance with these Terms. Cheddar Up may disqualify referrals that appear to be generated through deceptive, misleading, or mass-marketing tactics.

Additionally, Referrers may not send unsolicited commercial emails, automated bulk messages, or engage in mass distribution of referral links that violate applicable spam and privacy laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR, CASL). Referrers must comply with all electronic marketing regulations and obtain prior consent from recipients where required.

If you refer a friend via email through the Cheddar Up platform, they will receive an email from Cheddar Up notifying them of your referral, along with an invitation to join. Emails will only be sent to individuals who are not already registered with Cheddar Up. 

1. Eligible Users

This Referral Program is open for a limited time to registered Cheddar Up users who have been a user for a specified time period and have met an online credit card or eCheck payment collecting threshold. Cheddar Up reserves the right to modify, withdraw, or suspend the Referral Program at any time. Eligibility requirements and incentives may change at Cheddar Up’s discretion without prior notice.

2. Referral Requirements

Subject to these Terms, for each “Qualified Referral” that meets the following criteria, you will receive the applicable $35 Referral Reward as outlined in these Terms. A Qualified Referral is a new Cheddar Up user that:

• Signs up for Cheddar Up using your unique referral link or through an official referral method (e.g., an email invitation sent via the Cheddar Up referral program);
• Is not an existing user on Cheddar Up or an active sales lead contacted by Cheddar Up in the last 6 months; and
• Successfully collects at least $100 in online credit card or echeck payments using Cheddar Up and has been on the Cheddar Up platform for at least seven (7) days.

Additional Terms:

• Verbal referrals will not be accepted —the Referral must sign up through the Referrer’s unique referral link.
• Cheddar Up reserves the right to determine the original referral source in its sole discretion. If a Referral has already been contacted by Cheddar Up or was previously a lead in the system, the Referral may not qualify.
• Cheddar Up may disqualify referrals that appear to be generated through deceptive, misleading, or mass-marketing tactics.

3. Earning, Receiving, and Redeeming Referral Rewards

• Each Referral who signs up through your link, collects at least $100 in online payments via credit card or echeck using Cheddar Up, and has been a user of the platform for at least seven (7) days will receive a $35 Referral Reward to use in the Cheddar Up Gift Card Store.
• Once the Referral meets this requirement, the Referrer (you) will also receive a $35 Referral Reward in the Cheddar Up Gift Card Store.
• There is no limit to the number of Referrals you can make. You will earn $35 Referral Reward for each valid Referral that meets the criteria.

Additional Details:

• Referral rewards are issued in the form of digital gift cards through the Cheddar Up Gift Card Store, redeemable at 150+ retailers or as a prepaid Mastercard.
• Rewards cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another user.
• Rewards are typically issued within 15 business days after the Referral reaches the $100 collection threshold. Referrals are monitored for fraudulent activity, and in some cases, receipt of rewards can be delayed as a result.
• Referral rewards must be claimed within 180 days of issuance. If not redeemed within this period, they will expire and cannot be reissued.

4. Referrals Referred by Multiple Users (Referrers)

If a Referral receives multiple referral links, the reward will only be granted to the Referrer whose link was used when the Referral signed up.

5. If You Have Been Invited to Cheddar Up as a Referral

Once you sign up using a referral link and successfully collect at least $100 in online credit card or echeck payments through your Cheddar Up account (and have been a registered user of the Cheddar Up platform for at least seven (7) days), you will receive a $35 Referral Reward in the Cheddar Up Gift Card Store. Your Referrer will also receive a $35 Referral Reward at that time.

Cheddar Up will notify the Referrer when their reward is issued, but no details about the Referral’s collections or transactions will be shared.

6. Important Disclaimers

• Cheddar Up reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts and revoke rewards if we detect any activity that violates these Terms, our Terms of Service, or our Community Standards.
• If a refund on the Referral’s account reduces their total collections below $100, they will no longer meet the eligibility requirement for the reward.
• We actively monitor for fraudulent activity and may investigate any suspected abuse of the Referral Program. This includes, but is not limited to, self-referrals, multiple account creation, or misleading users. Any such activity may result in the forfeiture of rewards, disqualification from the program, and termination of the Referrer’s and Referral’s Cheddar Up accounts.
• We reserve the right to amend, suspend, or terminate this Referral Program at any time without prior notice.
